The Castle Tavern is a traditional public house located in the very heart of the Yorkshire Dales, in the beautiful cobbled market place of Richmond. Close to the magnificent Norman Castle and only a short walk from the spectacular River Swale, this is a truly wonderful area for a holiday or short break. The Castle Tavern is now under the management of Fiona and Jon who, together with a small but hard working team of staff, offer a warm welcome, some lovely homemade food, a great selection of drinks and real ales and a great atmosphere for all our visitors.....and not forgetting the pub dog 'Charlie' who would love to meet and greet you.
We offer five beautifully appointed rooms across the upstairs of our historic market place building. Each room features en - suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee, toiletries, super comfy beds.
